Tamirat's case passed court yesterday. We will be traveling in 5-6 weeks.
This is the story of our adoption journey.
One of our social workers, Yenesaw, is in Kamashi collecting documents. He was scheduled to arrive on Thursday but did not arrive yet so we do not have those Kamashi docs yet to submit to court. It is very very difficult to collect docs from that remote area. I remember that once, Brother James, who runs the orphanage, had to walk 3 hours to obtain one signature from someone. They are working hard but Yenesaw will not come back until he has everything he needs since he cannot return there easily. He is also a lawyer so he really knows about documents but as of yet he is not back in Addis.
He is the most precious child! I didn't want to leave him!
I have many more(pictures)! Hopefully Elle can get the video uploaded and I'll send you a DVD soon. :)) He truly is precious! How is that for encouragement?
I haven't heard from the director if that is official yet but Angela in the office thinks so.Case of Tamarit has been submitted to court. The
court will hear the case on March 11.
